Our Outdoor Oasis

I am so excited about our new outdoor oasis! We live on the third floor of a nice apartment complex and have a beauuutiful balcony, but never got around to sprucing it up! It was bright yellow from all the pollen and there were bees everywhere! We got the bright idea to clean it all up and make it our little getaway! We cleaned off the porch, strung up chinese lanterns, bought a small palm tree, hanging flowers that we hung from the ceiling, a flower box to hang off the balcony and a little grill. We celebrated by having some of our friends over for a BBQ and had so much fun! We've been grilling out and sipping on strawberry lemonade in the evening while we chat at sundown! So romantic!!! I'll post pics soon of our little oasis!

We also had to get season ticks to Busch Gardens to usher in the spring season! We've ben going every Friday and wandering around the park. The grounds are gorgeous with every type of flower, and they have a quant petting zoo. But most of all we have the ROLLER COASTERS!!! YESSSSS!!! Now is the time to go because the kids are in school and you can go on the best rides over and over again! Good for me, bad for me tummy :( We make it work... All in all- BG ticks are well worth it.

Nothing else to report really! I'm counting down the weeks for my long awaited VACA, and Ken is finishing his finals. He takes the DAT this summer! Yikes! Dental school is seeming more and more real every semester. Were hoping to stay in the BIG VA, but are happy to go wherever Ken gets accepted! I do request that we live on a coast... I never realized how much I love and miss the ocean until I'm away from it!

Summer Lovin

Oh my goodness, it's going to be 80 degrees in VA this weekend!!!! You better bet were packin Ken's boards and my beach chair and going to Croatan! C'mon, aren't you jealous?! This is a preview to our long awaited:

HAWAII VACATION!

Yes, my friends, we have worked very hard for this and listen, a girl needs a break once in a while! Working in an erectile dysfunction clinic day in and day out can wear me out!!! I have millions upon millions of hilarious and embarrassing stories/situations that I had to work very hard for! (Hit me up every once in a while for a good one) We are soOoO lucky to first meet up with Ken's sister and brother in law in SAN FRAN and then flying with them and my cutie-patootie nieces to Honolulu. They used to go to school there and will make excellent tour guides- Im sure of it! Then we'll see Ken's daddy-o and fam who live in Waipahu. Cant Wait!

New Kid on the Block

So I am obsessed with reading everyone's bloggies! I never thought Ken and I had enough going on to even have one, but I've cracked! Just like I said I would never have a Facebook! (Add me, I'm collecting friends!) I sooo look forward to reading my friends blogs, I thought what the hell, I'll get one too. Ken and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary in Jan and are working our bums off! I work full time and just applied to my RN-BSN program, and Ken is my straight A student here at VA Commonwealth University. We live in Richmond, but vaca in VA Beach practically anytime we get! Ken loves to surf and I love to crash on the sand and enjoy the sun! I'm just learning how to do this blog thing so gimme sometime and I'll have it up and running in no time! -Linz
